‘A World of Luxury and Art’

Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam opened its doors in 2007 and is housed in the former Shipping House (Scheepvaarthuis), which accommodated the offices of six shipping companies for decades. Its monumental façade, Art Nouveau style interior and abundance of original ornaments and furniture exude an atmosphere of days gone by. The hotel’s 165 rooms range from spacious Deluxe Rooms to exclusive suites such as the three story Tower Suite and the Oriental Suite with private rooftop terrace. To have a fresh coffee any time of the day, just push the button on the Nespresso machine—each room has one.

Grand Hotel Amrâth is located 350 meters from Amsterdam Central Station. You can easily take a tram to the Museumplein or any other part of town, or catch a train to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (13 minutes), Haarlem (15 minutes) or Zandvoort aan Zee (30 minutes). Not to mention the fact that Dam Square, Rembrandtplein and Artis Zoo are only a 15-minute walk away. Those who are more keen on soaking in the classic ambiance of Grand Hotel Amrâth won’t be disappointed. In-house restaurant Seven Sees serves Mediterranean inspired French-international cuisine à la carte. Amrâth’s gym and wellness area are worth a visit too. If only because there are hand-painted Delftware dolphins on the bottom the 45sqm (485sqft) swimming pool.
