Green Elegance

Opened in 2008 and housed in four monumental, early 19th century apartment buildings, everything about Hotel V exudes elegance: from the dark wood décor of the 48 rooms to the hotel’s large lobby with its impressive round fireplace. In this space, you can enjoy an energy rich breakfast with organic and fair trade products in the morning, but also have a drink and a bite in the afternoon or evening. Coffee and tea are on the house in this eco-friendly hotel that’s been awarded a Golden Green Key certificate in 2010.

Hotel V’s central location with four tram lines (4, 7, 10, 25) at its doorstep, makes for easy access to every part of town. Whether you want to check out the shops in the Utrechtsestraat, do some people-watching on the Albert Cuyp Market in the multi-cultural De Pijp district, or visit one of three world-class museums on the Museumplein —it’s all within walking distance or, in the worst case, a short tram ride away. Don’t know where to go next? The V staff will be happy to point you in the right direction.
